Atrani – the Christmas week

In Atrani, the Christmas holidays will be characterized by tradition and conviviality. The municipality has announced the program that will accompany residents and tourists from 15 December 2019 to 7 January 2020 with an eventful billboard.

"The billboard for Christmas events has been designed for both the little ones, true protagonists of the Christmas period, and for adults, giving ample space to tradition - said Mayor Luciano de Rosa Laderchi-. This year we have joined the fixed appointments that are renewed every year, such as the Calata della Stella which has been repeated for 141 years, for children's workshops, performances by folk groups and the Pastorelli Parade. It will therefore be a traditional Christmas but also with many new features ».

It starts with two events dedicated to the little ones: on December 15th with the Tombolata of the Children at the Municipal Gym and continue with the Christmas Workshops from December 16th to 22nd at the headquarters of the Social Center. Then space for adults from 16 to 23 December with the Neapolitan Card Tournaments at the headquarters of the Social Center and to the boys, always from 16 to 23 December and always at the headquarters of the Social Center, with the PS4 Fifa 20 Tournament.

The morning of Christmas Eve, a convivial moment in Piazza Umberto I with a zeppolata at the end of the liturgical celebrations and then, for the little ones, the long-awaited arrival of Santa Claus always in the square.

Great expectations then on the night of December 24th with the 141st edition of the Calata della Stella Cometa with the great fireworks display that will illuminate the village of Atrani to celebrate the birth of Jesus Children.
